28 April 2010 Day of Mourning - 2010 Toronto April 28 is the National Day of Mourning, in remembrance of those who have been killed and injured at work. In 2010, during our National Policy Conference in Toronto, hundreds of Steelworkers took part in one of the largest Day of Mourning ceremonies ever, at Nathan Philips Square.
