Queen’s staff want to face the future – confident, prepared and engaged.

Together, we can unite our ideas, our skills and our talents to make Queen’s an even better place to work.  Together, we can build an effective voice in the decisions that affect us at Queen’s.

Let’s reach out to staff in all areas of our campus.  We can gain the tools that staff need to face the future, while at the same time honouring the best of Queen’s University’s values.   It is not anti-Queen’s to be pro-union.

Together, we can win collective bargaining rights – a set of rights held by other employee groups at Queen’s and by staff at other universities.

This way, this time, we can succeed.

The USW & University Staff:

The USW already represents close to 7,000 university staff at the University of Toronto, at the University of Guelph, and at Toronto’s University of St. Michaels’ College and Victoria University.

The USW blends bargaining expertise, clear analysis of university finances and a strong membership communications network in the university sector.

The result has been significant gains for university staff.  With a decade of experience in negotiating with Ontario university administrations, the USW understands the particular issues and concerns of university staff.
