Building for Tomorrow’s Jobs: Global Economic Activity

  • From work with the Global Union to international corporate campaigns, delegates and panelists will exchange experiences and innovative techniques, as well as legislative efforts.

  • Creating clean energy jobs is central to our Blue Green Canada alliance with our partner Environmental Defence. This will be a chance to learn and explore the possibilities of using environmental advancement for creating good jobs here in Canada.

  • These times require more organizing, particularly within unorganized sectors and workplaces. Some of the innovative campaigns in progress will be highlighted along with their achievements and challenges.

  • Activist presentations, discussions and debate of resolutions on our work locally and globally to promote human rights and equity.


Building for Tomorrow’s Jobs: Union Partnerships

  • From our strategic alliance with ACTRA to our work with CLC and other unions to our partnership with Unite the Union in forming Workers’ Uniting, partnerships have been central to USW’s work and success.
