Nominations closed on June 15th for the proposed recipients of the Lynn William's Award for Service........and they are in alphabetical order:
Don Barill, President and founding member of Chapter 6-17 in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.
Dan McNeil, Emeritus SOAR Board Member and founding member of Chapter 6-01 in Toronto, Ontario.
Each of the nominees have impressive credentials and demonstrated abilities, the role of the selection committee has been made more difficult because of the quality of the nominees. Canadian Coordinator Doug Macpherson says, "Each one of the nominees, in his own right deserves this prestigious award, simply being nominated makes them all winners". The selection process is described in the attached criteria.
