- 18 April 2012 Agora Manufacturing Employees Join USW In a vote conducted by the Ontario Labour Relations Board, a strong majority of employees at Agora Manufacturing in Mississauga chose the USW for fairness and better working conditions.
- 21 March 2012 Workers in Welland choose the USW On February 27th, 2012, employees of Stelcrete in Welland voted to join the United Steelworkers
- 2 November 2011 New Members at Russell Metals Sixty seven workers at Russell Metals in Winnipeg are new members of the USW.
