Building Inclusive Locals is a series of 60-minute Zoom events for Steelworkers!
Join us to listen, discuss, and learn what we can do to build inclusive locals and strong communities. Our union has responsibilities under the law and under our collective agreements to defend members’ rights. And we all want to live in safe, inclusive communities. Let’s talk about practical ways we can do more.
In May, join USW National Aboriginal Committee members Tshakapesh Jérôme (Local 7493, District 5) and Marc Ayotte (staff rep, District 6) talk about reconciliation and Indigenous rights, including:
- What can local unions do to promote awareness and action? What can individual Steelworkers do?
- Two chances to join:
- Tuesday, May 24 at 5:30 p.m. Pacific (8:30 p.m. Eastern); English-French interpretation provided. Click here to register
- Wednesday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern (4:30 p.m. Pacific); French-English interpretation provided. Click here to register
