From Logger to Labour Leader
Holding her own – and more – working alongside men as a log-grader in the coastal forests of B.C., Leslie earned the support of her co-workers to become a steward and organizer in her local union. In 2009, she became only the second woman hired as a USW staff representative in District 3.
