Manitoba Improves Job Protections for Victims of Domestic Violence

On March 15, Manitoba proclaimed the first legislation on paid domestic-violence leave in any Canadian jurisdiction. Now, the Employment Standards Code gives victims of domestic violence the right to time off work without fear of job loss.
