Download the PDF

USW is urging the federal government to ensure that proposed legislation gives all Canadians with disabilities meaningful access to services—like health care and housing, employment, information, and participation in the political process. In our submission, Steelworkers also tell the government that it must seek out the views of Canadians with disabilities who face multiple disadvantages, like women and girls, racialized persons, Indigenous peoples, and those in the LGBTQ community.
