This submission is filed on behalf of the United Steel, Paper, Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union (hereinafter the “United Steelworkers”, “USW”, “Steelworkers”, or the “Union”) in response to the Natural Resources Canada’s discussion paper, “Canada’s Critical Minerals Strategy.” The United Steelworkers welcomes the opportunity to comment on Canada’s mining industry, one of the most important industries in the country.
